xylographs from the Hindukush
In 1963 I lived some time in Nepal and learned how to cut wood and print it in a very primitve manner. I did a number of xylographs from themes I had drawn among the Kalash poeple in 1962 and 1963. I later exposed them in Berlin and sold quite well.
